MCCCD Joins the National Applied Artificial Intelligence Consortium to Advance AI Education and Workforce Development

In partnership with Miami Dade College (MDC) and Houston Community College, the Maricopa County Community College District (MCCCD), is proud to join the National Applied Artificial Intelligence Consortium (NAAIC), a groundbreaking initiative that aims to foster the growth of technician-level artificial intelligence (AI) professionals across the nation. Led by MDC, the consortium will receive $2.8 million from the National Science Foundation Advanced Technological Education program to develop and implement technician-level AI courses, certificates, and degree programs.

Governor Hobbs Joins AC4, MCCCD to Announce the Arizona Community College Workforce Scholarship Program

The Arizona Community College Workforce Scholarship Program, which is funded through the American Rescue Act Plan, offers students the opportunity to earn a certificate, a two-year associate degree, a four-year bachelor’s degree, or non-credit training for high-demand, high-wage industries, including Advanced Manufacturing/Semiconductors, Construction Trades, Dental Hygienists/Assistants, Education, Health Care, Information Technology, Paralegal/Legal Assistants, Tractor Trailer Driving, and Veterinary Technology.
