Black History Month Events at CGCC

A Week of Gratitude!

As a Title V Project initiative funded by the US Department of Education, the CGCC Financial Aid department is holding a series of events for students to help them navigate multiple aspects of financial wellness. Each event will be located in the Coyote Kickoff room in the Coyote Center on the Pecos Campus, 2626 East Pecos Road in Chandler.

CGCC recently launched a Spanish page on its website to better serve students and their families. Located at cgc.edu/espanol, the site provides Spanish videos, forms, resources, contacts and information on CGCC’s programs of study, admissions, financial aid, and navigation. Susana Turowski, Title V Retention Specialist, was a former ESL teacher who is now bridging the gap for Spanish-speaking individuals interested in attending CGCC, and she is excited to have this new resource available

Saturdays and Extended Hours Available for Spring Enrollment

Beginning in the 2024–2025 aid year, the U.S. Department of Education will introduce the FAFSA Simplification Act, which aims to streamline the financial aid application process for students and families.

In the fall of 2023, the Coyote Women's Basketball team stepped out in some very special uniforms celebrating the Tribal heritage of many of its members.

Native American Heritage Month celebrates the achievements, traditions, languages, and stories of Native and Indigenous Americans and Alaska Natives.

Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC) is proud to present Lucky Stiff on Thursday, Nov. 16 and Friday, Nov. 17 at 7:00 p.m., as well as Saturday, Nov. 18 at 2:00 and 7:00 p.m.

On October 17, 2023, Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC) hosted the tenth Empty Bowls event in partnership with local charity AZCEND. During Empty Bowls, guests choose from hundreds of one-of-a-kind, handcrafted bowls for a donation of $10 each. For each donation, guests also received a bowl of soup to represent a typical meal served to homeless, as every $10 given funds 18 meals from AZCEND.
