CGCC Hoops Heads to Playoffs
The Chandler-Gilbert Community College Men's Basketball team is looking to clinch a spot in the Region 1 Division II playoffs as the number one seed and will be hosting the 4th seed—who is still to be determined—on Thursday, March 7, on their home turf.

CGCC Launches Spanish Webpage
CGCC recently launched a Spanish page on its website to better serve students and their families. Located at cgc.edu/espanol, the site provides Spanish videos, forms, resources, contacts and information on CGCC’s programs of study, admissions, financial aid, and navigation. Susana Turowski, Title V Retention Specialist, was a former ESL teacher who is now bridging the gap for Spanish-speaking individuals interested in attending CGCC, and she is excited to have this new resource available

10th Year of Empty Bowls Raises More Than $5,000
On October 17, 2023, Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC) hosted the tenth Empty Bowls event in partnership with local charity AZCEND. During Empty Bowls, guests choose from hundreds of one-of-a-kind, handcrafted bowls for a donation of $10 each. For each donation, guests also received a bowl of soup to represent a typical meal served to homeless, as every $10 given funds 18 meals from AZCEND.
