AI Across Dual Enrollment Classrooms And Program Personnel
This multi-track AI DE Summit will provide high school Dual Enrollment instructors, administrators and partners with insights, strategies, and practical examples of how to incorporate and leverage AI technology to enhance teaching and increase student engagement, streamline daily administrative tasks, and introduce students to machine learning. From introductory concepts to advanced applications, we will explore how AI can enrich various disciplines and foster innovative learning experiences.

- Only current instructors teaching CGCC dual enrollment courses during academic year 2024-2025 can qualify for the Title V $300.00 stipend.
- The stipend covers compensation for instructional/pedagogical development and registration fee reimbursement.
- CGCC’s Department of Education Division of Hispanic Serving Institutions Title V grant award only supports pedagogical development for current Dual Enrollment instructors. Hence, non-instructional DE personnel and industry partners do not qualify to receive a stipend for attending the DE AI Summit.
- The professional development stipend will be paid directly to a current DE instructor ONLY if s/he meets the following requirements:
- Attend all 7 hours of training on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 8 am to 2 pm (including lunch), and
- Register with the Maricopa County Community College District Supplier Portal by no later than February 15, 2025, if you do not have an MCCCD Supplier 10-digit ID
NOTE: No credit will be given for partial attendance. Stipend eligibility requires full-summit attendance regardless of individual circumstances.
- Registration as an MCCCD supplier (vendor) allows the College to pay the stipend directly to the participating summit DE instructor and bypass school district payment processes.
Disclaimer: MCCCD Supplier registration does not guarantee a spot at the Summit. Separate event and supplier registrations will be required.
If you are a current DE instructor planning on attending the Spring 2025 AI DE Summit, we recommend that you act now. Go to the Maricopa Supplier Page and complete these steps:
- Submit your Supplier Application via Maricopa’s Supplier Registration Portal as the application processing takes several days.
- Follow the steps outlined in the New Supplier Registration Guide when applying as a supplier.
- The application requires attaching a signed W-9 form (www.irs.gov/FormW9) using the “Add Attachment” hyperlink
- Required questions are marked with an asterisk (*)
- Profile questions are a mix of clicking on the magnifying glass for the answer selection box to appear and clicking on a drop-down arrow for answer selection
- Contact Supplier Management if you have questions or need assistance with the application process at supplier.mgmt@domail.maricopa.edu or 480-731-8526. Please allow 72 hours for a response
- Suppliers that report Portal access issues can first try using a different browser
Non-instructional DE personnel are not eligible to receive the training stipend. CGCC’s Title V grant award from the Department of Education Division of Hispanic Serving Institutions only funds the pedagogical development of current CGCC dual enrollment instructors.
No, stipend eligibility requires a full day of training (7 hours) participation.
