The retirement of Davin White’s jersey number not only honors his extraordinary accomplishments but also acknowledges the heart and soul he invested in every moment, both on and off the court – inspiring teammates, fans, and the entire community.

Davin attended Chandler-Gilbert and graduated with his AA degree before accepting a scholarship to California State Northridge. While at CGCC, his team clinched the ACCAC title in 2002. Davin holds the following career and single-season records at CGCC:
- Career Points – 873
- Average per Game – 28.2 in 2002 (all-time leader) and 24.9 in 2001 (3rd all-time)
- Field Goals Made – 324 in 2002 (all-time leader) and 211 in 2001 (2nd all-time)
- Free Throws Made – 170 in 2002 (all-time leader)
- Assists – 247 in 2002 (all-time leader)
- Steals – 114 in 2002 (all-time leader) and 98 in 2001 (2nd all-time)
Davin went on to have a 17-year professional basketball career, playing in countries such as Spain, Bulgaria, Israel, Mexico, and Serbia, as well as in the NBA G League. He signed with his hometown team, the Phoenix Suns, during the 2006 season. Notably, he also played in and scored the winning basket in The Basketball Tournament with Team 23.
