We are thrilled to announce the upcoming grand opening of our brand-new Entrepreneurship Center at Chandler-Gilbert Community College (CGCC). This innovative space has been designed with both students and community members in mind, providing a dynamic environment for collaboration, creativity, and business development.
The Entrepreneurship Center will serve as a hub where students and local entrepreneurs can come together to brainstorm, plan, and grow their business ideas. The center features several group working areas equipped with the latest technology, including plenty of outlets for laptops, whiteboards for brainstorming sessions, and other tools to foster innovation. Whether you're an aspiring entrepreneur or an experienced business owner looking to expand your knowledge, this space will be an ideal location to connect, create, and collaborate.
One of the standout features of the center is its ability to host hybrid events. We’ve incorporated two cameras, making it possible to host virtual events where students and speakers can participate in person or remotely. This hybrid setup ensures that everyone has access to the valuable resources and events at CGCC, no matter where they’re located.
For those looking to take their business to the next level, the center is also equipped with a green screen, a video camera, and special lighting—perfect for students to create marketing materials for their businesses and get professional-quality video content.
We’re kicking things off with a grand opening event you won’t want to miss! Join us for a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Tuesday, Feb. 4th, featuring special guests including Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke, Maricopa Community College Chancellor Dr. Steven Gonzales, CGCC President Dr. CJ Wurster, and other prominent community members. Following the ribbon cutting, attendees will have the opportunity to tour the new center and explore all the resources it offers.
In addition to the grand opening, we’re hosting an exciting Entrepreneurship Speaker Series on Tuesday and Wednesday following the event. These talks will feature speakers from a wide range of entrepreneurial experiences, offering valuable insights for anyone interested in starting or growing their business.
Our lineup includes experts in fields such as technology, franchise ownership in the dance industry, selling with Google, authorship, and small business development. Representatives from the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will also share key resources for getting your business started and scaling successfully.
