Purpose of the Workshop:
This two-day workshop aims to provide faculty across Maricopa Community Colleges with insights, strategies, and practical examples of incorporating AI into their teaching. From introductory concepts to advanced applications, we will explore how AI can enrich various disciplines and foster innovative learning experiences. Faculty and staff will also learn how to integrate AI into their daily duties, such as using AI tools to streamline administrative tasks and personalize student learning experiences.
There will be two tracks for faculty. Track 1 will be focused on all disciplines and how select faculty use AI within their classroom. Presenters will be chosen from a Call for Proposal across the district. Track 2 will be focused on technical training, which will be specifically for faculty that want to offer courses on the subject of AI and Machine Learning. Track 3 will be for staff and is focused on how any member of staff may utilize AI to improve their work.
