Hello CGCC!
My name is Justine Lugo, proudly serving as your Student Body President of the 2023-2024 academic year!
I am a business student on campus currently taking five classes this Fall semester. I have a passion for leadership and a commitment to foster a vibrant and inclusive school community. I am dedicated to representing the voices and needs of our fellow students.
I also work on campus for the Business and Computing studies division as their Social Media Marketing Intern. Along with these commitments, I am also an active member of Collegiate DECA and the Fashion, Style, and More (FSM) Club. I believe that community is a huge part of the college experience. Community provides a sense of belonging, a platform for diverse perspectives, and a foundation for personal and academic growth. It is within the communal bond that we forge friendships, share knowledge, and collectively tackle challenges. Community fosters empathy, inclusivity, and a shared sense of purpose, making our college experience richer, more vibrant, and ultimately more meaningful.
I am genuinely thrilled to be the Student Body President of Chandler-Gilbert Community College. It is a role that allows me to actively shape the college experience for my peers and work towards upholding and creating an exceptional campus environment. The opportunity to lead and collaborate with fellow students, faculty, and staff in making positive changes on our campus is incredibly rewarding. I’m excited for the journey ahead and grateful for the trust my peers and faculty have placed in me.
