Chandler-Gilbert Community College's (CGCC) partnered with Indeed, the world’s #1 job site and leading hiring platform, to launch the Job Search Academy, a free, virtual career development program designed to help students excel in their job search. The program equips students with the skills and knowledge needed to conduct successful job searches.
Indeed’s Job Search Academy is a one-stop shop that delivers all of Indeed’s resources and educational programs in one place, helping CGCC students prepare for and land internships and jobs. The site features a wealth of career development content and tools that serve as supplemental materials to the support provided by Career Services, including a career guide and instructional videos and live webinars focused on job searching, resume building, interview preparation, job offer evaluation, career direction and more.
“The resources provided through Indeed’s Job Search Academy are of high quality and reflect the latest trends employers are using in today’s hiring practices,” said Deb Ruiz, CGCC academic advisement and career services manager. "We’re thrilled to partner with Indeed to bring these valuable tools to our CGCC students. Our CGCC career advisors are here to help students tailor these resources to their goals and take the next steps with confidence."
Maricopa Community Colleges are 10 of 294 colleges and universities (and 10 of only 40 community colleges) across the nation to partner with Indeed to develop co-branded web pages to support students with comprehensive career resources and guidance.
We encourage students to utilize the resources and tools available on Indeed’s Job Search Academy, and then schedule an appointment with one of our career advisors to personalize and apply what they have learned to their own career journey.
