About Chandler-Gilbert Community College

CGCC was founded in 1985 to serve the higher education needs of the Southeast Valley. In 1992, CGCC was accredited as an independent college by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association. Today, with three locations and an average of 19,000 students every year, Chandler-Gilbert Community College is one of the fastest-growing of the 10 colleges in the Maricopa County Community College District system.
